OK, there are two options to the sudden fauxrage over Ifill's appearance as the moderator in tonight's debate:

1- The McCain folks are cynical jackals who will stop at nothing to distort pre-debate viewer opinions of what to expect during the festivities.
2- The McCain folks vetted Ifill about as well as they did Sarah Palin.
