Teacher hating school board candidate loses
Chanda Smith Baker will have to practice her teacher hating ways somewhere besides the Minneapolis School Board, where she has lost her bid for an at-large seat to union-backed Richard Mammen and newcomer Rebecca Gagnon.

Rob, do you know what the totals are? The Strib quoted Smith Baker as considering asking for a recount.
She lost by 1150 votes
