Spot has written twice, here and here, about the request by the Calvin Christian School to have the City of Edina's HRA issue revenue bonds to finance the expansion of the school. The vote was four to one against at the meeting of the HRA/Council tonight. Only Scot "I never met a neighborhood I wouldn't rape" Housh was in favor. As a Presbyterian, Scotty is, of course, a Calvinist fellow traveler.
Several members of the community objected to giving the city's imprimatur to a pervasively religious institution.
